About Pay Per View
Paid content may be viewed without obtaining an ID by using the Pay Per View service, which is recommended for people who only expect to use CiNii Articles occasionally.
If you forget to log in with your ID, you will be charged Pay Per View rates.
Services available for Pay Per View users
- Pay Per View rates are charged
- Paid content can be viewed by paying charges with a credit card at the time of use. The rates, however, are higher than those charged to users with IDs. Individuals who expect to use CiNii more than a few times a year will benefit from obtaining an individual ID.
- Detailed publication information cannot be viewed through the Pay Per View service.
Pay Per View users not affiliated with institutions with fixed-price contracts cannot access bibliographic or citation information.

Note 1: If you're logging in with an "Individual ID" instead of "Site License Individual ID", usage fees will be charged even if you are using a computer terminal at an institution with a contract.
Note 2: Some academic society members are eligible for special rates. We recommend that you register the academic society you belong to in your user information.
- Scope of service
Paid full text content may be viewed without registration. However, the citation information (References / Cited by) cannot be accessed.
- Payment method
Service fees must be paid by credit card at the time of use (monthly payment).
Please note that the transaction date will be printed about 1 month after the original transaction date due to internal system procedure.
