本研究は、前報『仏教におけるイメージの研究I』(駒沢大学社会学研究第25号1993.3.)にひき続き、「遍」と呼ばれる単色の円図形の観察課題のもたらす効果を検討した。ここでは、刺激図自体が持つ効果を分析するため、「図形から思い浮かぶことや連想されるものを、思い浮かぶ順に記述する」という課題で、被験者に5分間の反応を求めた。その結果、120名の被験者から652の反応を得ることができた。これらの連想さ …
