本成寺庫裏の調査から明らかとなるのは以下の諸点である。1.本成寺庫裏は明治28(1895)年の建築であることが棟札の記載から明らかで、聞き取りでは火災以前における本堂の材を一部に用いるという。2.本成寺庫裏は痕跡、昭和30(1955)年代の姿を描く油絵、聞き取りなどから、南側は低い板敷に復原される。

正覚寺山門の調査から明らかとなるのは以下の諸点である。1)山門はいわゆる高麗門の形式で、旧与板城の遺構とする伝承を持つ。2)山門は与板別院から明治13(1880)年の火災後に移され、大正時代末頃、正覚寺へ再度移された。3)山門は旧与板城大手門に匹敵する形式と規模を有し、文政6(1823)年の建築と考えられる。
