TiC-Ni_3Al系複合材料の緻密化とその熱的性質 Densification and Thermal Properties of TiC-Ni_3Al Composites Materials
TiC and TiC-Ni<SUB>3</SUB>Al composites were prepared by hot-pressing at 1573K. Cr<SUB>3</SUB>C<SUB>2</SUB> was added as a sintering aid. Fully dense (more than 97% theoretical density) bodies were obtained by 3 vol% Cr<SUB>3</SUB>C<SUB>2</SUB> addition. The thermal conductivity(k) of TiC-Ni<SUB>3</SUB>Al composites decreased with increasing Ni<SUB>3</SUB>Al content in general, however, the maximum of k values was observed at 40 vol% Ni<SUB>3</SUB>Al. The microstructure of 40vol% Ni<SUB>3</SUB>Al composite (i. e., network structure) was different from that of other compositions (i. e., Ni<SUB>3</SUB>Al or TiC particles dispersed).
