エアレート充填法の実機プレスでの評価 Investigating the Effect of Aeration Powder Filling on the Actual Compacting Press
The improvement of weight scattering and dimensional tolerance for the purpose of net-shaping is an important issue in the manufacturing of automotive PM parts. To resolve this issue, an aeration powder filling method was developed.<BR>It was clarified that the aeration powder filling method is effective in filling the thin and complex-shaped cavities uniformly and quickly.<BR>Consequently, the aeration powder filling method has been applied on the actual compacting press to examine the dimensional tolerance with cup-shaped test pieces. The decreasing of the weight scattering, the uniform density, the improvement of dimensional tolerance, and the reduction in the filling time were confirmed.
