Abstract

We did research on aluminum can recycling done by municipal authorities in Japan.<BR>The quantity of aluminum Used-Beverage-Cans (U. B. C.) recycled by Japanese municipal authorities is steadily inereasing. Also Aluminum U. B. C. recycling realized by various kinds of civilian (volunteer) bodies is rapidly growing.<BR>Moral and economic support is given to most of those civilian groups by municinal authorities.
