Abstract
The measurements of mass fluxes in binary distillation of the nitrogen-oxygen and argon-oxygen systems in a wetted-wall column were made under total reflux conditions for a wide range of turbulent flows.<BR>The observed diffusion fluxes of each components in binary distillation were found to be proportional to their concentration driving forces, whereas the observed mass fluxes were not. A new correlation for vapor phase diffusion fluxes in the nitrogen-oxygen and argon-oxygen systems was proposed.
