抄録
An improved diecasting method based on the following conditions was developed. (1) Molten metal processed by GBF (Gas Bubbling Filtration) method. (2) Use of inert gas to prevent oxidation of molten metal (buffer furnace, holding furnace, and launder). (3) Supply of molten metal through sleeves using electromagnetic pump. (4) Use of powder mold separator (Iubricants). The results showed stability in sleeve temperature and reduction in the formation of oxides and other undesirable inclusions. Variation in test strengths decreased greatly, and deviation of test strengths was reduced by about 50% for compression and 20% for tensile tests.
