抄録

Synthetic Mg-containing whitlockite was hydrothermally prepared and was investigated on Ca deficiency, chemical composition and thermal behavior.<BR>Synthetic Mg-containing whitlockite was successfully synthesized under hydrothermal conditions below 350°C. In preparing at high concentration of both KOH and H3PO4 solutions, Ca-defected non-stoichiometric whitlockite (Ca18-xMg2KyH2+z (PO4) 14·nH2O; x=y+z, n=1-3) was formed. On the other hand, stoichiometric whitlockite (Ca18Mg2H2 (PO4) 14) was formed at the low concentration condition of both solutions. For the purpose of the compensation of electric charge and stabilization of whitlockite structure, synthetic whitlockite included water of crystallization and K+ ion and they decreased with lowering of concentration of both solutions. The contents of water of crystallization and K+ ion in whitlockite were considerably dependent on Ca-deficiency and they decreased with decreasing of amount of Ca-deficiency. The increase in Ca-deficiency lowered the decomposition temperature and thermal stability of synthetic whitlockite
