液体急冷したLa-Sr-Mn合金の酸化と磁気抵抗特性 Magnetoresistance of La-Sr-Mn Oxides Prepared by Oxidation of Melt-Quenched Alloy
The La<SUB>0.85</SUB>Sr<SUB>0.15</SUB>Mn oxides with a perovskite structure and a negative magnetoresistance were easily prepared by oxidation of melt-quenched alloy tapes in air. The perovskite structure was obtained by oxidation at over 1073K. The magmetoresistance ratio at room temperature increase with oxidation temperature and reached 5% at 1373K. The annealing in O<SUB>2</SUB> atomsphere enhanced the magnetoresistance ratio to 10%. Therefore, the oxidation process of the melt-quenched alloy is useful for the preparation of perovsky type La<SUB>0.85</SUB>Sr<SUB>0.15</SUB>Mn oxide with a negative magnetoresistance.
