抄録

Mössbauer experiments are performed on Si-rich Fe–Co–Si alloys. New information on their phase separation process, from the as-quenched state to that of the DO<SUB>3</SUB>+ε phases, is obtained. Analysis of the Mössbauer spectra is made based on the preferential site occupation rules. The phase boundary and the tie-line are accurately determined. The chemical order of the rapidly quenched specimen is shown to be complete inside the DO<SUB>3</SUB> phase boundary, while it is incomplete outside unless annealed. The degree of the chemical order of Co atoms is determined.
