Abstract
In this research, the relation between passive systems and finite gain systems are considered, and in the view point of this the equivalence between solving nonlinear H∞ problems and finding the feedback which renders a nonlinear system passive is shown. First the state space representation of Cayley-transform (H-I) (H+I)-1 of a nonlinear operator H and that of its inverse transformation are proposed. Next Cayley-transform is extended to the case of general control systems.
