抄録

In order to evaluate dynamic silhouette of flared skirt, relationships between bending vibrational properties of fabrics and subjective values about appearance of flared skirt made of those fabrics were studied precisely and following conclusions were obtained. (1) There are negative correlation between hem widths and hem angles for both left and right in both front and side views of flared skirt at turning round point . The correlation is extremely high with left hem angles. The smaller the hem angle, the larger the skirt overhang horizontally. (2) If the parameters of bending vibration, ?Δd1, Δd2 are smaller and S1, S2 are larger, the skirt was judged to have more "flowing" and "beautiful" movement. The effect of Δd1, Δd2 on "beautiful" movement of skirt is larger than S1 and S2.
