超音波支援による球状黒鉛鋳鉄とステンレス鋼の拡散接合部の欠陥検出評価 Defect Evaluation in Diffusion Bonding Interface of Dissimilar Metals by Ultrasonic Pulse Echo Method
A study was carried out on solid-state diffusion bonding of spheroidal graphite cast iron FCD500 to austenitic stainless steel SUS304 using Ni insert metal with a slit defect at the bonding interface to examine interference of reflective waves at the bonding interface, which influences the flaw detectability of the ultrasonic measurement. The interference of the reflective wave varies at an interval of 1/4 wavelength according to the thickness of the insert material. And it was quantitatively clarified that the detectability of the defect varied following the wavelength, the sound reflectivity at the bonding interface and the phase reversal at the interface.
