抄録

Cation radicals, generated from <I>α</I>-stannyl sulfides by the photoinduced single electron transfer, cleave into <I>α</I>-alkylthio radical intermediates with the elimination of the stannyl group. The <I>α</I>-alkylthio radicals thus formed are utilized for carbon-carbon bond forming reactions.
