<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>Photochromism of the dimer of 2,3,4,5-tetraphenylpyrrolyl radical consists of coloration by photochemical scission and decoloration by thermal recombination of radicals. Application of external magnetic field gave a pronounced retarding effect on the second-order recombination rate constant of escaped radicals.</jats:p>
