抄録

A mononuclear rhenium(V) complex having a BF<SUB>3</SUB> moiety on one of the two oxo ligands, <I>trans</I>-[Re<SUP>V</SUP>(O)(OBF<SUB>3</SUB>)(1-MeIm)<SUB>4</SUB>](BF<SUB>4</SUB>)(1-MeIm = 1-methylimidazole), was isolated and characterized. Two one-electron redox waves were observed in 0.1 M (<I>n</I>-C<SUB>4</SUB>H<SUB>9</SUB>)<SUB>4</SUB>NPF<SUB>6</SUB>/CH<SUB>3</SUB>CN (M = mol dm<SUP>−3</SUP>).
