Aniline derivatives were found to be trasformed to fluorescent compounds on treatment with horseradish peroxidase/H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>. DNA was detectable with high resolution in the horseradish peroxidase-linked immunosobent fluorescence assay of the membrane-bound DNA using one of the aniline derivatives. A new method for a simultaneous detection of two different DNA sequences was also achieved.
