Mist Coating is one of the most widely used techniques for producing machine parts, etc. This process is a technique utilizing mist of coating liquid with the rapid air flow. Mist is thinly coated on the surface of the parts. This method has several merits such as low costs, easy operating, etc. It is important to analyze precisely the air flow velocity in order to keep the product quality. Especially the air flow uniformity in the field influences quality control of the parts.<BR>The flow in the coating provision was visualized using smoke wire method, and time series of images were captured by high speed camera. We analyzed the velocity field by PIV, and the best coating condition is considered.
