抄録
The fluid measurement using an image correlation PIV technique is applicable, from the theoretical viewpoint, to various types of flow visualization experiments. However, in reality, the result of the measurement is often influenced by tracers employed and other factors adopted in the visualization experiment. Therefore, in the present paper, the PIV measurement is checked in a 2-D circular cylinder wake using various visualization methods, and some discussion is made from the comparative results of each visualization method.
