Abstract
In this paper, a fast algorithm is proposed and examined. The algorithm is a combination of two algorithms. One of the algorithms is the successive abandon algorithm, which can efficiently extract the most similar pattern of brightness from many candidates. Another algorithm is a fast calculation method of brightness differences between corresponding pixels. As an application of the algorithm, motions of a partograph mechanism, which is composed of many bar -elements and joints.
