Abstract
We investigated a turbulent mixing process based on the interaction of unsteady two-dimensional jets which were arranged in parallel in a water tank. The nozzle width of jots used for the experiment is 6mm and the aspect ratio is 20. The nozzle interval in the case of two or three nozzles in parallel is 7 times the nozzle width. The flow visualization was performed to find the interaction of jets with varying the exit velocity and the issuing period. The results of the parallel jets were compared with those of a single jet and the difference hetween them was found for their mixing processes.
