磁場下における電磁熱流体のRayleigh-Benard対流の有限要素法解析 Finite Element Analysis of Rayleigh-Benard Convection of Thermoelectrically Conducting Fluid under Magnetic Field

If the fluid between the parallel plates is heated from bottom plate and cooled from upper plate above the critical temperature difference, the Rayleigh-Bénard convection occurs. The property of this convection is that the flow is developed with increase of the Rayleigh number and changes to three dimensional structure. The Rayleigh-Bénard convection is seen in the blast furnace. Particularly, the low Prandtl number fluid like the fused metal tends to be time dependence flow. This flow disturbs the pressure field and temperature field, and hindes the formation of the metal with good crystal. The Lorentz force by D.C.magnetic field can control this flow. By the way, the time dependence flow changes to laminar flow and three dimensional srtucture changes two dimensional roll structure.
