PIV法に基づく3次元流速場計測法の開発 Three-Dimensional Measurement of Velocity Field Using PIV
For the study of three-dimensional fluid velocity field, a new technique based on cross-correlation method is investigated in this paper. Although the ordinary crosscorrelation method is used for the two-dimensional analysis of the flow, it is extended to three-dimensional analysis. Three-dimensional gray-level digital data of flow field are required to analyze the vector field using this algorithm. Hence, they are reconstructed from a series of images that show a vertical section of the flow field visualized by moving a laser light sheet. The validity of this method was examined for a constant flow and a jet of water.
