Shock Compressibility, Adiabatic Expansion and Equation of State of Stylbene

The shock compressibility of stylbene samples with density 1. 13 and 0. 85 g/cc is investigated experimentally up to the pressure about 54 GPa. From three states on principal Hugonion of stylbene at pressures 32, 36 and 44 GPa the reshock and release adiabat paths also are registered using barrier technique. On the base of obtained data semiempirical equation of state for stylbene over a wide range of high-energy-density states is constructed.
