抄録

Weatherabilities of granite and gabbro are investigated by measuring the core size and gravel size of weathered rocks in some debris flow deposits of Mt. Tsukuba. Another attempt to analyse the mineral assemblage and rebound value of weathered gravels of these rocks are made by X-ray powder diffraction and Schmidt rock hammer. Consequently it is found that granite is more easily weathered than gabbro, which is geomorphologicaly observed in nature.
