Abstract

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>External electric field effects on the electronic structures of charge transfer salts were examined for the first time in Langmuir-Blodgett films. Significant electroabsorption signals arising primarily from the first Stark effect were obtained for the films of amphiphilic tetrathiafulvalene derivatives / 7,7,8,8-tetracyano-2,3,5,6-tetrafluoroquinodimethane 1 : 1 salts.</jats:p>
