Abstract
<p>The purpose of this study is to show the style and to find out the sturucture of the long stay in hotspring in the period of Edo and Meiji by the social conditions and thb correspondence of the side of the areas of hotspring resort in those days. Through the study at the areas of Kusatu.Atami. Yamanaka,Ikaho,Arima and Hakone.followings are found out; I The possibility of the long stay in hotspring resort was owing to three social conditions. II These areas had the wisdom of the correspondence. III The effects of the long stay 'Touji' can be divided into great sphere effect and local feedback effect.</p>
