The accidental electric breakdown in arbitrary one of capacitors in a parallel connection of the large slow-capacitor bank may result in serious damages such as mechanical explosion and oil effusion or fire.<br>Because, breaking of the DC large current of follow in to a breakdown capacitor from normal capacitors is impossible. Therefore, many kinds of protective devices were made designed.<br>We do report how to get new knowledge about succeeding breaking of DC large current in oil by experiments.<br>Our view point is effect of surge absorption by parallel normal capacitors conected to the breaking device in accidental electric breakdown capacitor.<br>The result showed that breaking time is a value less than 2 milliseconds for a parallel connection bank more than 3 capacitors, each one is a SH-type capacitor (1200V in DC, 1200μF).
