抄録

Reaction of copper(II) benzoate with pyrazine (pyz) gave a compound, [Cu<SUB>2</SUB>(bz)<SUB>4</SUB>(pyz)]<SUB><I>n</I></SUB> (<B>1</B>) which has a gas-occlusion property. The X-ray structure analysis of <B>1</B>·2<I>n</I>CH<SUB>3</SUB>CN shows a microporous structure formed by chains where the carboxylate dimer units are linked by pyrazine molecules.
