<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>5 nm thiospinel FeIn2S4 nanocrystallines were prepared through a solvothermal process at 280 °C. Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) reveal that the product was nanocrystalline FeIn2S4, with cubic cell, and uniform spherical particle morphology. The factors to the formation of uniform FeIn2S4 nanocrystallines with a narrow size distribution were discussed also.</jats:p>
