<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>An intersting chiral metallohelical complex [Cd(C4H4O4)(SC(NH2)2)2]n (I) is spontaneous assembled. The formation is driven by multiple intramolecular hydrogen bond interactions to form the helical structure and by multiple intermolecular hydrogen bond interactions to form chiral supramolecular arrays.</jats:p>
