Abstract

A new species of the pseudoscorpion genus Allochthonius, A. tamurai sp. nov., is described from Mt. Tsukuba, central Japan. It is characteristic in the chaetotaxy on carapace, tergites, sternites and coxae of legs, and in the number of blades of coxal spine on coxa I.
