抄録

Diagnosis of a radiolucent foreign body in the lower airway is not always easy. Holzknecht's sign in conventional radiography has been considered one of the most useful procedures, but various newer procedures, including tomography, bronchography, xerotomography, xeroradiography, digital radiography, CT and MRI scintigraphy are being used to provide a more precise diagnosis of foreign body in the lower airway.<br>MRI (T1 weighted image) was used in the examination of a patient with a bronchial foreign body and provided a precise diagnosis of a plastic foreign body in the lower airway.
