Abstract

We continuously monitored the alteration rate of the Arterial-Venous pressure difference in the blood circuit (A-V sure) during the hemodialysis and discussed its efficiency in clinical use. 1. Significant correlation was seen between the ration rate of A-V pressure and the blood alteration rate of hematocrit and blood viscostiy. 2. There could be seen a significant rate of A-V pressure and the decrement rate of body weight. 3. As for the alteration rate of A-V pressure and that of mean blood pressure, we could see a significant correlation in 6 cases out of 10, which 6 cases did not include the patients with vascular graft or under the dosage of vasopressor drugs. From these results, we have found that the alteration rate of A-V pressure depends on the hemoconcentration due to the decrement of circulation to know the fall of blood pressure by the alteration much removal of water through the alteration rate of A-V pressure. Therefore it seems to be useful to monitor the alteration rate of A-V pressure in clinical field.
