抄録

We have adopted iron iodide intercalation into Bi₂Sr₂CaCu₂O_y. The intercalation compound was prepared by heating pelletized mixture of polycrystalline Bi₂Sr₂CaCu₂O_y powder and Fe powder in iodine atmosphere.<BR>The powder X-ray diffraction pattern showed the same result as of FeI_2+xBi₂Sr₂CaCu₂O_8+y synthesized by Kijima group. The Mössbauer spectra showed α-Fe₂O₃(60%), 40% iron iodide intercalation performed. From a.c. magnetic susceptibility, the compound showed insulating. Iodine intercalation was also performed in order to compare their superconductivity.
