Abstract

A 27-year-old man presented with a slow-growing, large, elastic hard, fixed, and non-tender mass on the right side of his neck. Computed tomographic scans revealed a large mass of 4.5×6.5×14.0cm in the right neck. Excision was performed and the pathological diagnosis was an extra-abdominal desmoid tumor.<br>Though a desmoid tumor is histologically benign, it has a tendency to invade the surrounding tissue and often recurs locally, and it is necessary to remove the tumor with an ample safety margin.
