Abstract

The DGPS is possible to improve the position accuracy of the users by way of the correction data transmission. When there is transimission delay of correction data, the position accuracy of the user by DGPS deteriorates, For this reason, an analysis for the deterioration of position accuracy due to the correction data transmission delay time was made this time, by putting the receiver at the user who was located near the transmitting side of the correction data and user who was located 210 km apart from one. As a result, within the area of less than 210 km from the transmitting side of the correction data, the positioning accuracy of the user was shown with two factors, the transmission delay time and the positioning accuracy of the user side by DGPS, and had no influence of the distance between the transmitting side and the user side. Authors reached the approximated equation that the position error due to the correction data delay time could be calculated easily by this analysis.
