Abstract

A case of malignant adenomyoepithelioma (AME) of the right breast with local reccurrence and distant metastasis. A 61-year-old woman was found to have a tumor of the right breast in 1989. We first saw her in March 1997 when she reported pain tumor. She underwent exisional biopsy and the tumor was diagnosed as AME. The tumor had metastasized to both lung by January 1999. In July 2000, she died of multiple metastases to both lung, the liver, and the right kidney.
