抄録

A 47-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of upper abdominal pain in October, 1998. Abdominal ultrasonography and computed tomography revealed dilatation of the common bile duct, multiple polypoid lesion in the gallbladder and multiple cystic lesion in the liver (two in S3, and each one in S6, S7, and S8, respectively). Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography showed cystic dilatation of the common bile duct, pancreaticobiliary maljunction and cystic dilatation of the intrahe-patic bile duct in the lateral lobe. A diagnosis of congenital dilatation of the bile duct with cystic dilatation of the intrahepatic bile duct in the lateral lobe was made. Hepatic lateral segmentectomy combined with bile duct resection was carried out to avoid possible stone formation and cholangitis after the operation.
