Leiomyosarcoma of the ascending colon is very rare. This case report describes a case of low grade malignancy leiomyosarcoma of the ascending colon removed by endoscopic polypecyomy. A 47-year-old male was seen at the hospital because of pasty stool. Barium enema showed a protruded lesion in the ascending colon. Endoscopic diagnosis was subpendunclated submucosal tumor of the colon. The lesion was removed by endoscopic polypectomy. The collected specimen was 3×2.5×2.5cm in size. Histological finding of the specimen disclosed low grade malignancy leiomyosarcoma.<br> The course of post endoscopic polypectomy was uneventful and there has been no sign of recurrence, as of four years and six months after the endscopic polypectomy.
