Abstract
We have experienced a case of extremely rare sarcomatoid carcinoma of the breast. A 60-year-old woman noticed a left breast lump. The tumor was about 3.5cm in size and was located in the lateral area of the left breast. A standard radical mastectomy was performed. Histopathological examination revealed sarcoma-like appearance rather than carcinoma. But we could not rule out a possibility of carcinoma histopathologically. We diagnosed this tumor as anaplastic sarcomatoid carcinoma. This case of anaplastic sarcomatoid carcinoma is very rare as well as very interesting.
