抄録

A case of Kusuburi type multiple myelonma accompanied by hepatocellular carcinoma and gastric carcinoma is reported.<br> A 67-year-old man, who had Kusuburi type multiple myeloma for 14 years, was found to have a hepatocellular carcinoma and gastric carcinoma coexisting independently. He underwent simultaneously a partial hepatectomy and distal gastrectomy. The patient was transferred to the internal department in our hospital on 32nd day after the operation.<br> Due to the advance of chemotherapies, an improved prognosis has been achieved for patients with multiple myeloma. It would, on the other hand, increase multiple myeloma cases complicated by the occurrence of other neoplasms. In those cases, attension must be paid for the possibility that neoplasms in different organs could coexsist independently.
