抄録

A case of squamous cell carcinoma with non-invasive ductal carcinoma in the hemilateral breast is reported with some discussion from a review of the literature. A 44-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of a lump of the left breast. The lump which was located in the lower-outer quadrant, was diagnosed as breast cancer by ultrasonography. And a mammogram pointed out a localized malignant calcification in the middle-outer area which suggested coexisting another carcinoma. The patient received a left modified radical mastectomy without both muscle resection.<br> The tumor was 2.0cm in size and squamous cell carcinoma which was regarded as pure squamous carcinoma histologically. And there was a non-invasive ductal carcinoma separately. The postoperative course was uneventful and no tumor has recurred for 16 months after the operation. There are 93 case reports of squamous cell carcinoma of the breast in Japan, but we could not find any case of hemilateral mutiple cancer.
