Abstract

A 78-year-old female had been noticed hardning and reddness of her left nipple from two years before. A mammary tumor invaded radialy just under the left mipple in a mammogram. We suspected Paget's disease and performed a radical operation (Auchincloss operation). The tumor was 20×15mm in size. Histologically it was homogeneous type tubular carcinoma, and erosion of the nipple was exsisted but no invasion to the epidermis was seen.<br> No lymph nodes metastasis were also seen. Both mammary tubular carcinoma and Paget's disease are rare mammary malignant tumors. We reported this case of mammary tubular carcinoma (homogeneous type) just under the nipple which was difficult in differentiation from Paget's disease before excision.
