In the majority of the patients with gastric anisakiasis, edema, redness and/or erosion of the gastric mucosa are observed endoscopically. It is rare that the anisakiasis forms the submucosal tumor, and there are few reports about the endosonographic findings of the granuloma. In order to clarify the components of the tumorous lesion in anisakis granuloma, we evaluated the endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) findings in two patients with anisakis granuloma. EUS detected the eosinophilic granuloma as a hypoechoic lesion in the third layer of gastric wall, and the central hyperechoic part corresponded to the mite body of anisakis.
