抄録

The reaction of <I>N</I>-Ts-(2-bromophenyl)alkylamines with aldehydes in the presence of a catalytic amount of a rhodium complex results in the intramolecular aminocarbonylation of the aryl halides to give five-, six-, and seven-membered benzolactams.
