抄録

We performed simultaneous alcohol blocks of the celiac and inferior mesenteric plexus for abdominal cancer pain. In ten patients suffering from cancer pain, the effectiveness of pain relief, and the side effects of a wide-range block and of alcohol were examined. The simultaneous block of the celiac and inferior mesenteric plexus was a safe and useful method for cancer patients suffering from abdominal pain.<br>Successful simultaneous blocks could avoid repeated blocks for exhausted cancer patients.
