We performed Day Surgery to 100 cases of anal diseases and discussed the outcomes retrospectively. Diseases were 48 cases of internal hemorrhoid (Golighter III), 19 cases of hemorrhoid (Golighter IV), 20 cases of partly incarcerated hemorrhoid with large thrombus, 2 cases of anal fistula and others. Anesthesia were either caudal block (epidural; 79 cases) or saddle block (spinal; 21 cases). The operation Procedure were ligation and resection of hemorrhoids semi-closed (1 lesion; 44 cases, 2 lesions 30 cases, 3 lesions; 22 cases), lay open of anal fistula (2 cases), and sliding skin graft of riss formation (2 cases) . Urinary catheterization were needed in 9 cases after caudal block (11.4%) and 9 cases after saddle block (42.9%). After operation, pain and bleeding disappeared gradually, but one patient was rehospitalized due to anal pain and another patient due to post spinal headache. On 5th post-operative day, 64 patients (64%) had been returned to their jobs. We concluded that Day Surgery will more widely spread, with informed consent, to those patients satisfvina the indication for operation.
