Abstract

数式処理, 知識処理の研究より生まれたコンピュータ上の記号法の成果の持つ文化史的な意味について考察した。我々の一連の研究の成果を元に, それらが思考の新たな地平を開く支援システムであることを示し, 情報科学が文化に深刻な影響を与えることを具体的に例示した。

We have already developed computer algebra system called ICAS in which the user can manipulate functional relation of entities on the computer. This new symbolism on computer strongly assists the user for the problem solving in his own domain.
